Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm going to be kidnapped by my family for most of that time. Rats.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

OOH! I thought I was going to be in Seattle that weekend, but I'm not, which is sad, but not as sad as previously, now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am around. My schedule is undetermined, as yet, but I will probably have some time for together getting.

And Monday during the day (the 29th?) should be pretty open, vw.

Saturday night dinner at Delancy Street???

Is this a specific reference of which I am unaware? In any case, Saturday night dinner anywhere sounds good.

Megan, it is down on the Embarcaderro... Delancey Street. Beautiful views, good food, good cause, reasonable prices and parking.

I will get an e-mail out to the locals with timing later today.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Delancey is difficult about reservations for large parties, IIRC. Like, requiring a prix fixe menu, etc. They could have changed things, but that was my experience.

Whereever it is, we'll want reservations ASAP. That's going to be a busy, be-costumed night. We'll also probably want to stay away from anything vaguely Castro-ish. (Which is too bad, because otherwise I'd suggest Home or Lime.)

Juliana - I hadn't had that problem with Delancey - but I also hadn't thought about the date. At least the location is fairly away from most of the party areas.

I will get an e-mail out tonight to count heads - or folks can start e-mailing my profile. So far I think we have Val, me, Megan, juliana (?), -t, Lee, Sparky (?)...

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Park Chow, on 9th Ave. near Lincoln, has a huge upstairs area (divided into three semi-separate rooms, so there's space for larger parties to chatter away without drowning everyone else out) and does take reservations, as long as you've got at least 8 people. It's in the Sunset, so not terribly central, but at least it's far from any Halloweenie activities and right off the N Judah line. And there's been one big Buffista meal there before, 3-4 years ago, and they accommodated about a dozen of us comfortably.
