Our wings are not tired.

Heh. I don't think javachik's gotten one yet, though I could see her being a biker babe.

Heh. Yes, a verrah verrah nervous biker babe. I love 'em, but housemate Charlie had a custom Honda 950 that sat and sat and sat in our garage for three moves until I finally put my foot down and said "get it fixed or don't bring it to the new place."

He no longer has it.

ETA: Since this is the F2F thread, I duly report that I was lucky enough to meet up with Cass, AmyLiz and Lee today for lunch at the little French bistro near my workplace. SOOOOOOOOOOO good to see them!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My ability to meet up for a drink in Times Square depends on whether DH can leave work early and pick Dylan up from daycare, but if I can swing it I'd love to see you!

Nicole, are you around? Remind me your schedule for the weekend you're in Chicago.

Mostly lurking...

It's official. I'll be in SF from October 24-29. Made my airline reservation today. So, um. We should plan stuff!

brenda, what day are you going to be back in Chicago? Do you have couch room for a night?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

OAK has a shuttle that takes you to BART - I don't know how long the shuttle ride is.

Depending on traffic, it's between 15 and 30 minutes. And it's an extra two bucks.

I have room! I'm trying to figure out when I'm coming back, but you can plan on a place to stay however that works out.

Not javachik

SFers, if you are flying into the area and have a choice of Oakland or SFO, which is better if you are not renting a car?
