Brenda, will you be back by the 12th of October? I get into Chicago on the evening of the 11th. Wanna see you!
As for Priceline, tried it for the first time yesterday and I *love* it. Very easy with Chicago, though, since the areas are so specific on the site. Chicago Marriott Downtown (Magnificent Mile) for $150 a night seemed like a long shot but we got it.
Nice! My plans are very not finalized yet, and I'm thinking I may not be able to stay longer in NY after all. But now I'm not sad about it!

Yes, it's just a couple of blocks from the 12th Street BART station (just two stops from the Embarcadero in the City).
Ok. Good to know.
So, um, how is SF in late October?
Halloween-y.
Also, I'll be off from work resting after my shoulder surgery, so I'll have all the time in the world!
So, um, how is SF in late October?
Gorgeous. Might be the best time of the year. Also? Yay!
Well, I don't know if it's actually gonna happen, but I'm considering it. There's a big conference that could be really helpful with my senior thesis, and my adviser is recommending that I go (which would have been more helpful, say 2 months ago when I could have applied for a scholarship to pay for my expenses!).
Would any Chicago-istas be interested in doing something on the afternoon of Nov. 10th?
There's a chance I might be out of town, but if not, sure!

Very close, as others have said. Though my house is a tad further away, it comes with a guest room, cute kids, fabulous cook, and ME!!!!!
