Drinks at Union Station!
I'm totally up for that!
Can I start herding people for dinner plans for next Wednesday? Who all thinks they can make it? And does anyone have a suggestion of somewhere kind of fun and central to meet for drinks around 5:30, then dinner around 6:30?
Kristin, which highway are you coming into Boston from? The Pike? 95? 93?
Actually, I'm driving up to Boston on 95, but I may switch to 93 once I get close if it will work better for traffic. I'm pretty flexible, so just let me know the best route.
If not, I'll probably just hang at the Beerworks for a spell before heading over to the North End.
Pretty much where I was going to end up prior to dinner. I'm sure Nora is shocked.

t faints from the shock of it all
Yeah, Frank and I are both Beerworks junkies. Frank works the North Station one harder than I do, though. I'm mostly a Salem Beerworks girl.

I'll be arriving at Union Station around 4:30 or 5 that Sunday, actually!

I'll be in Chicago and conveniently downtown, ready for drinking! I, uh, don't really have any recommendations for where to go because I don't go for drinks or dinner after work very often.

Yes, yes, yes!!! Drinks at US!!!
That's perfect! There's a bar there I always hang at when I'm waiting for a train. They'll put your beer in a to-go cup when you have to leave.
It is now my favorite bar EVAH.
well, dang. Antico Forno only had reservations open at 5pm or 9pm (for a party of 10).
I hope it's OK, I made reservations instead at Joe Tecce's for 7:30pm.
It should be alright. Certainly they have the space for us. I'm suprised Antico Forno was that booked up on Monday, but ce la vi.
