The Riverwalk. Which has always been an odd mall.
How many other malls can say they've had a collision with a massive freighter ship?

Oh. I knew *that*.
"Mrs. Claus" indeed.
Don't want no more of Christmas game...
Somervillains, let me know where and when for dinner on the 23rd.
OK, who's in for the 23rd? Me, KristinT, Jon B., Frankenbuddha? Anyone else?
What do y'all think of my thoughts of the North End, to better facilitate both my and Frank's commute home from North Station?
Does anyone have restaurant recs? (I have thoughts and will make decisions if need be but I'd rather it be less a Nora Tells Everyone What To Do and more a, uh, Nobody Hates Nora process.) Suggest away! I had previously recommended La Summa (Italian place) and Billy Tse's (asian food place) and will go annoy a co-worker who lives in the North End for recs right now.
I believe FAQWife will be coming, and the North End seems good to me. I haven't eaten there in ages, so I'm in no position to suggest anything.
Kristin, in case you see this before you check your LJ -- do you have any free time to hang out tomorrow?
OK, re: the 23rd. I spoke to my co-worker and he suggested a venerable North End institution: Joe Tecce's. I have been there as well and have always enjoyed myself and the food. It will likely be super easy to get seats, and it's reasonably priced.
He also suggested Fiore for drinks on the rooftop deck, but not for the food.
I would also suggest a post-dinner walk/outing to Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry for dessert.
So that's my suggestion; any feedback or other ideas would certainly be welcome! And I've got 5 folks on the list for dinner so far, yes? Let me know if anyone else is interested in joining!
The North End is fine by me. Just let me know where exactly, and when exactly.
