I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Our wings are not tired

Will someone be recording the Pooh readings for the enjoyment for those unlucky souls who won't be at the F2F?

At one point I had talked about setting up and doing a really nice recording, but the readings have ended up opposite the Winchester House trip, so I won't be able to.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I found my copies of A. A. Milne books.they were given to me when I was 3. Winne the Pooh is a fragile, but House at Pooh Corner is in good shape. now we are six and when we were very young are also in good shape.

I am glad Fay looked at the weather - I forgot there is a 15 degree difference in the weather . I have only vaguely thought about packing ( matt and I will be staying up there Friday and Saturday night)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Would my wool peacoat be out of line for the trip to Alcatraz?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Would my wool peacoat be out of line for the trip to Alcatraz?

It's chilly out there. So I think that would be fine.

Note, these are 5 costume changes in Vegas.

How much room can five thongs and a bunch of big-ass feathers take up?

Oh, I don't know...

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Would my wool peacoat be out of line for the trip to Alcatraz?

How chilly is Alcatraz? I keep thinking that if I pack things that are appropriate here, they should be fine there since it's a tad bit warmer there than here.

Wool coat seems excessive to me. Or is that just the warm-weather-acclimated-LAer needs warmer clothing?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Important night tour info I just this minute found out (because it's not listed on their website, and I had to call Blue & Gold and get transferred around until they could find someone who knew):

The tour is 3 hours long.

Holy crap.

I mean, it'll still be amazing and well worth it, but damn, that's long. Dress warm, if you have Emeline bring a stroller for when she inevitably zonks right the hell out, line your pockets with snacks, and maybe we should check into either the availability of coffee or whether we're allowed to bring a thermos of our own.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It won't be that chilly on Alcatraz. But it will probably be colder on the ferry boat ride across the Bay.

On Thursday, I am collecting Teppy at SFO at 5:30 and Kate P. at 8:00.

I can take one more person that's arriving in that zone between 5:30 and 8:00. Anybody? We'd be hanging out until Kate arrived and then swooping directly into the City.

After sundown, rocky island, non-heated stone/brick/concrete prison, on the Bay = wool coats for all, not just the LAistas.
