Damn, Frank, that's some serious driving. But a lot of fun, too!

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Fred, I clarified my post. That's IFwe decide to do saturday.

The trip down was over the course of a week. The trip back was over two days. I was a leetle FRIED by the end of that second day, but not nearly as badly as I dreaded.
Plus I learned to hate the drivers from oh so many new and exciting states! I have to say I don't feel too bad about MA drivers anymore.
My loathing of today's semi drivers was fanned to nova heat by the trip down between Memphis and Birmingham. Though driving in Georgia and Florida wasn't bad except for the distances involved ( I totalled out only about 500 miles less than Frank; I'd expected his drive to be MUCH longer).
Fred Pete and other DC-istas. My evenings should be fairly free and easy...just hit my cell phone or e-mail me and we can make plans.
I'm starting to get bouncy - almost done with work for the day...just leaving notes EVERYWHERE for folks to do things while I'm gone.
Emails say that Friday is good, although some people have issues? or is tuesday better? a lot of people didn't weigh in on Tuesday.

Whoa!! But you continued on from Atlanta, right? Florida is the John Holmes of states, so if you ventured very far down the peninsula (and for Florida it should be called a penisula) there's a ton of mileage that would accumulate.
Wow, Frank and Matt. I feel like a weenie for complaining about my drive! That's a lot of mileage.
Yeah, it was about 10 hours driving from Atlanta to South Beach for me.
Chicago~istas, I'll have a car while I'm in town, so if we try to get together earlier in my trip, I can drive in. You don't have to try to get out by me. I think that will make things much easier.
