The last quartet of Buffistas has departed the Highland Inn. Hil and Ailleann should be on their flights any minute. -t is cooling her heels at ATL for a couple of hours. I dropped off Trudy at the Martin Luther King Center, after we missed it on the first pass and had to loop back around.
Big thanks to smonster & Kate P. for iPod music, askye for iPod, DVD player and vids (and being gracious about me inadvertently tossing her AV cables in with my own). Thanks to Brenda & Frankenbuddha for bringing fun CDs (and to Frank for the hat which became Zenkitty's prop for "You Can Leave Your Hat On"). You guys made prom ROCK!
I somewhat reluctantly have returned to the office, where I'm having some difficulty trying get my brain back into debugging code instead of replaying the events of the last 5 days.

Actually, this may be my favorite of the pictures I took – I love those two dresses together, and both Theo and Katie Bee look so fantastically regal and happy.

Hahahaha! Must have been. There were quite a few sing-along moments, but I’m pretty sure that one had the most Buffistas involved. Someone got “Carry On” on video, right? Was it tommyrot? I can’t *wait* to see that one.

I've been talking about my weekend to various people at work (who were interested) and I was explaining there was a singalong for Carry On and one of the guys said he played it Saturday night at a party (he's in a band).
I was asked why there was a sing along for that and I just explained it was on a show and so had special significance with that.
As for music I ended up hearing Take on Me THREE times on my way back home. Also at one point House of Hair came on, Dee Snyder's syndicated show of metal music. But I went right out of range as he was talking about Rocklahoma some big rock show in Oklahoma with Twisted Sister, RATT, Warrant, Skid Row, and other bands.
