See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ah-ha! I thought the woman in the red shirt might be Zenkitty. So glad to be able to put a face to both her posts and Aileen's.

I am totally embarrassed that I, too, utterly failed to recognize askye without her spiky hair. Of course, when I was wee I was one of those kids who burst into tears every time Mommy came home from the hairdresser's with a new do because she was now A TOTAL STRANGER, so it's not entirely without precedent.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Off to an Aquarium visit imminently -- I finally gave in and admitted that I'd rather see penguins than have my toes sparkled...

All is well that ends in pizza.

BTW, Andi and I are so jealous of all the F2Fers. Also happy for you all getting together. It's a "cool, wish we were there" thing.

Sail is off in a few minutes for mani-pedi with a gaggle of folks, and Ginger is picking Katie Bee up at the airport. They will either head for the hospitality suite or for Ginger's, depending on what Katie wants to do. I'm tailoring Sail's thrift shopping treasure, her prom dress. I'll see everybody tonight at prom. Can't wait!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

BTW, found the gift bag. It was determined to elude our seek and retrieve mission but ultimately yielded to our persistence and was winkled out from under the front passenger seat.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Back from lunch. Some are heading aquarium-wards, I'm going to walk down and find nail folks.

So, were there penguins?

We have achieved KatieBee! She's napping, having gotten up at 0Dark:30, flown backwards in time, and planning to Prom hearty tonight.

Ginger's on her way back to the Hospitality Suite to check on peeps and stuff. Some of us are heading to dinner from here before coming back to primp for Prom.

I'm feeling considerably better, and am almost ready for human consumption company. Prom ahoy!
