Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How cool! Were you nervous?

Herding cats for fun

Not at all. I was thrilled! So exciting, I have to take everyone over there and hand out apples and raisins and peanuts so the parrots will like us.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

okay, there's an issue with tapas dinner tomorrow. I could only make a reservation for six on line. I tried to up the reservation yesterday in person, but since it's Cinco de Mayo, they're totally booked. So, I went with the first six people that said that they wanted to go:

me Matt the Bruins Fan Sparky tommyrot Frank Brenda

There are tons of places around here, so I don't think it's a big deal. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Anybody remember "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill'? Well, yesterday I met them and had parrots in my hair and perching on my arms!! DH Is laughing about his "parrot-encrusted" wife. WOW for a magical experience. If only I had had my camera.

This is SO COOL. (Happy Anniversary! also) Details, details. Were you just wandering around and there they were, or you have to make an appt. and go someplace in particular, or ... how did you get to do this?

This is the coolest, Katie. I'm starting a list for next time I come to SF!

Also, I just realized that I came to SF, and somehow, improbably, have still NEVER HAD FERNET. This is a big problem, as apparently no one has ever heard of it here. Ok, I guess I have two things on my SF list now.
