I spoke with Vortex a little while ago, she's IN THE SAME CITY AS I AM! and we'll be seeing her this evening, YAY!
After raiding the DeKalb Farmer's Market last evening (soooo tired after the drive), Sail and I did rock paper scissors (not really, but I did offer) to decide who got the pretty guest room, and who got the cute & comfy daybed in the den, with the little jewel of a half-bath. I think we both won. We watched Bones and AI, and caught up natternatternatter, and skipped and skimmed and tried to catch up on line, and went to bed about 2:30, temporarily talked out and happy.
Oatmeal this morning, and coooffffeeeee, and skeezy cheeses, apples, crackers and strawberries (mmmm) for lunch. We got covers on the deck chairs, Ginger unveiled a pretty outdoor!rug for the cookout this evening, and we ran to the comics store (Buffy! SPN origins!) and the grocery. While we were out, Askye called from the house, so we hurried back so we could hug and squee. (Her new hair is gorgeous, btw)
We're waiting for folks to arrive for supper, after which there will be Supernatural viewing, so come, SPN faithful, and join us!

Hotel is funky and fun, so very Definitely Not A Chain. Aillean and I have a two bed suite with real kitchen parts in one room!
Now I'm awake. Theo is next to me.

I want to be there! I ran into Theo and Tom in the parking lot on our way in and their way out. We worked all day in Gainesville and are pooped. I haven't even looked at my email yet. I may have to start the F2F fun tomorrow night. Tomorrow during the day I need to work in Cave Spring. Gotta work to play.
The hotel people have all been delightful.
If I can get my act together quickly maybe I can get to Ginger's house. Eeep.
Gah. Cannot wait to be there. I was on the bus tonight and all of a sudden was all "holy god, F2F TOMORROW" and broke out into this huge shit-eating grin that probably freaked out a bunch of people around me.
Of course, between now and then I have to clean and pack. Should get on that.
