See, now I feel challenged. But then, if I drink my share AND your share, hmmm . . .
You have to use my counting method from DC. I got a new lime in my vodka tonic each trip back to the bar and only changed glasses once that I know of. I know at one point in the evening I counted 7 limes in one glass, and then in the new glass I saw at least 5 limes. So a minimum count of 12 Vodka Tonics that night.
Bev and me for tapas! Bev has never done tapas before so we will need to edumacate her on the plethora of yummy things that can be put on tiny plates.
Vortex, I'm not sure you and I (if I were cleared to drink) together could handle Drew's customary imbibitude. We might have to draft shrift as a designated drinker.
Am at airport. So far, plane is supposed to leave on time....
Good morning Atlanta! We arrived about 1:30 last night.
The good: Our room is at the top of the stairs over the lobby so we have 2 bars of wireless access and don't have to go downstairs. The room is on the roomier end of the options. Breakfast offerings of coffee, tea, oj, bagels, muffins, cereals, bananas. The bad: We had to run the water about 10 minutes to clear the rust from the pipes then shower with the head off the shower. But I will not change rooms, because wireless!
See many of you later!
Throwing stuff in the car and leaving for the airport. Hour drive there, then two hours for security, and then I'm off!
Commence freak-out.
I'm at my desk at work because I forgot to print out driving directions to Gingers.
But as soon as I get that printed out I'm off.
I have Bev and Sail in my house!
Do report any problems you have with the hotel. My impression is that it got new management in the last couple of years and they're really trying to fix accumulated problems.
We might have to draft shrift as a designated drinker.
You rang?
It's too bad that I have no vacation time left after my involuntary stay in Roanoke, VA.
