I've only had a pedicure a few times and only a manicure once, but only at Wal Mart so going for high style mani and pedi is new to me.
Are we having name tags?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

I vote for chocolate, and plenty of it. I would also vote for a pedicure, but probably will be arriving too late on Saturday for that to be convenient.
What to pack, what to pack? Newspaper says highs are about 85, lows in the 60s. Nice and warm, so I can probably leave the long-sleeved stuff at home.
There's no need for long sleeves except to ward off excessive air conditioning.

None of the weather people think there's going to be much rain. We need rain. We're working setting a record for the driest spring
Natural Body [link] does have a location on Highland, but it's about 1.5 miles.
There's manicure/pedicure place called Fresh Nails (404 881 8709 ) that's just around the corner on Ponce, but I don't know anything else about them.
Highland Nail [link] is about a mile away.
There's also a manicure/pedicure place a couple miles from my house that one friend likes. It's quite reasonable. It would be 4-5 miles from the hotel.
Ginger, I would think that the we need to ask first if they have open appointments on Saturday and can get a group of 4? 5? (-t, askye, Ailleann?, myself, any one else?) in for treatments in a reasonable time frame. It's tough for me to make phone calls during work hours b/c I work in a concrete box that gets lousy cell phone reception, but I can see if anyone will pick up the phone at 7 p.m. when I get home from work.
Ack. One thing I did forget all about is the Shakespeare thing. It would be a good idea to get tix ahead of time. Are people still interested in doing this?
I called Highland Nails and they could take 4-5 people Saturday at 3. (I just asked about 4-5 people in mid afternoon. It's possible they could take more.) It's about a mile, and about half the distance is shops and restaurants. I'm sure we could put together cars for people who don't want to walk. They'd prefer a reservation. Does that sound okay? Who's in?
Also, people who want to go to the aquarium or to see the baby panda should probably make reservations soon.
I'm in Ginger for the nail place! Me me me pick me over here with the naked fingers and toes! It'd probably be safe to make the reservation for 5, I think.
Eek, actual plans! Commitment!
::deep breath::
Okay.
I'm in for nails, wherever. I might be in for Shakespeare, I forget exactly what that was. I don't want to miss out on hanging with Buffistas as soon as I get there to sit in an audience, I think.
I'm not going to do Shakespeare. When are people talking about going to the Aquarium or zoo?
