Also, do we want to think about pre-ordering food for prom? I think it would be a good idea to at least have a handful of things - veggie and cheese trays, maybe the hummus or spanakopita or something. Thoughts?
F2F 4: Too Much Candy, Never Enough Mojitos.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
Hmm, I think that most people are doing dinner of sorts, so may not be hungry right when we get there.
Is anyone who will be in Atlanta interested in doing the mani/pedi thing on Saturday before dinner & Prom? (Maybe Ginger could suggest a place?)
I hereby order no more F2F talk as it makes me sad.

Aimee, what? I thought y'all were coming!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh come on, Atlanta's not that far from Michigan. It's practically on the way! t hides maps
Sorry, Aimee. You're the one putting your future livelihood and sanity ahead of F2Fing.
I was just thinking, literally seconds ago, that I need a manicure and going with Buffistas might be more fun than hitting the Nails place next to Raley's.
I am in favor of ordering some snacks ahead of time, just to save hassle. The hummus tray, spanokopita, and jalapeno cheese dip (+salsa) sound good to me, with wings and or chicken bites for the carnivores. I like to graze while I'm drinking, even after a lovely dinner. Which, by the way, I am up for - I've never been to a Tapas Bar and I like the idea of being next door making for a relatively quick getting back to the hotel and primping before prom transition.
Love the idea of webcasting, don't know how it works but I have the impression that the AV iChat thing is more like a conference call than a cast with invitations and suchlike. But that could be mistaken. Whatever is technically feasible, I am for it.
Aimee, what? I thought y'all were coming!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were, but then I got a job interview in Michigan and our leave date got pushed back - we're leaving tomorrow instead of today and after 4 days in the car and then 2 days in a hotel, we're afraid the pets would eat us.
Tapas, YAY!
No Miracleborns, BOO!
Key Lime Pie is a neat spa right down the street. Not the cheapest, though.
Here's some other neighborhood places:
Not listed but likely of interest to some of us is Soul Vegetarian which might make a nice lunch or brunch place.
