Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Our wings are not tired.

Unrelated to the F2F in Atlanta I forgot to mention that I will be in Dallas later in May. We have a show at the Dallas Convention Center May 21-23 and will be there around and about then. I don't know where I am staying or much else. I've never actually been in Texas outside an airport terminal, so I looking forward to it. Everything I know about Dallas I learned from the tv series so I likely will be surprised.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay! Laura in Dallas! I have to work all those days, but dinner maybe? I can see if I can take a long lunch. If you want to see The Grapevine, Mr. Jane's working the 21st and the 22nd.

The convention center is downtown and has a train stop. It's also very near my hairdressers and a really cool place called Lee Harvey's.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I thought I'd note to the F2Fers that last week a place opened up near my house (6-7 miles from the hotel) called The Chocolate Bar, which specializes in chocolate, chocolate drinks and drinks that go with chocolate. I haven't been there yet, but it seemed to be a very Buffista concept.

it seemed to be a very Buffista concept.

Sounds lovely. Does it have a liquor license? Hee!

I'd love to see The Grapevine. We should have plenty of spare time when not doing the show stuff. I expect we will be there on Sunday the 20th too. We should have transportation. Yay, will coordinate after the Atlanta trip.

Supposedly it does indeed have a liquor license. At the moment, it has a website [link] consisting almost entirely of "content coming soon."

Rock on!

ETA: tommyrot, that's also where they hold the after party for the Assassination City Rollerderby.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Have we gotten stuff organized yet for getting people from the MARTA station to the hotel? Also, is there a cell phone list?
