It's... not close. You could take the Blue Line part-way from O'Hare and then transfer to a bus or take a cab. Or you could take the Blue Line downtown, transfer to the Red line and come up North to the Sheridan or Addison stops, and walk from there (I'd guess then it'd be six to eight blocks).
Here's the CTA system map for the North side of Chicago: [link] The bar is on Ashland between Addison and Irving Park.
Here's what the CTA says:
>Walk 0.1 mile NE from O'HARE AIRPORT to O'HARE CTA (BLUE - O'HARE)
>Take CTA BLUE LINE TRAIN (BLUE LINE - SOUTHBOUND)
>Depart: O'HARE CTA At 05:36 PM
>Arrive: ADDISON CTA At 06:04 PM
Transfer
>Take CTA BUS # 152 ADDISON EASTBOUND
>Depart: ADDISON CTA BUS STOP At 06:12 PM
>Arrive: ADDISON & ASHLAND At 06:24 PM
>Walk 0.3 mile N to 3801 N ASHLAND AVE
I always forget how west the blue line runs.
(I just threw in 5:30 as a starting time - these trains and buses will be running about every 10 min at this time of day.) Coming from downtown I'd just take the red or brown to addison and jump in a cab - just since it's not likely to be very fun walking tomorrow.

If it were in a straight line! I feel like a rat in a maze trying to get on the blue line at O'Hare.
I wouldn't depend on finding a cab at the Blue line and Addison. It's not a place where cabs just happen to be.
However, I'll be driving in from the west side. If you want to call me when you get to O'Hare, we can probably figure out a way for me to pick you up at the Addison stop of the Blue line.
Thanks, ChiKat! Can you send me your phone #?
Yikes. If I had flown today instead of tomorrow, my flight would have been delayed by 5½ hours.
6:30ish at Ginger's Ale House. I will be there until I have to leave to pack my own suitcase!
Crap. crap. crap.
My flight was 45 minutes delayed, and now it's more than an hour delayed.
And there's still plenty of time to go.
