Someone working the phones wanted to take a name and number and have someone call me back (I suspect it was the "Buffistas" group block that was the problem). I just said I'd just deal with it in a few days, since I don't know how much I'm going to be around today.

As it mentions, Mary Mac's and The Varsity are Atlanta traditions. Mary Mac's serves excellent old-school Southern cooking and has been the site of much political wheeling and dealing. The Varsity's North Avenue location is the world's largest drive-in restaurant. My favorite order is a chili burger, an order of onion rings (made with real onions cut up before your eyes) and a Frosted Orange, which is somewhere between an Orange Julius and a partially melted Creamsicle. Many people would argue for the chili dog as being the One True Varsity Order.

So, is anyone planning on being at the F2F on Thursday night? I'm thinking about splurging on an extra night... the whiskey thing was Thursday, right?

So you're trying to convince me NOT to come? :) Never been a big fan of any college sports for some reason and I haven't had any interest in basketball since the last time the Celtics were a dominating team.

Yeah, that's encouraging me to come in early. I have family in Atlanta, so I need to at least pretend to want to see them :) I was thinking that I would do that Thursday, but now, with the whiskey thing . . .
