Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.
smonster, I'll be at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa from Sun-Tues. Unfortunately, I'll have meetings on Monday for much of the day.
also (nattering), did I tell you they rented my apt in Berkeley for $1600 and rented it as a 2 bedroom?
Sparky, if you get a chance to hop the river and check out downtown Savannnah, I strongly recommend it. River Street is pretty much a tourist trap, but the squares and houses are breathtaking. Since it escaped Sherman burning, you can trace the concentric development of the city through its architecture. Also, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) have bought and renovated a slew of buildings downtown, including a library that used to be a department store owned by my grandmother's best friend's father.
The old City Market area is also very charming, restaurants and stores. My favorite junk shop in the world is across the square, selling everything from old traffic lights to beautiful armoires.
*ahem* I love that city. Were it not for the mosquitos and my mother's side of the family (and the lack of curbside recycling), I might well move there.
Cheese grits:
Oh, and about your apartment, wow. That's pretty much what you predicted, right?

Our Empress has volunteered to create an epic Easter brunch here at our house Sunday late morning. All localistas are invited--I'll send out an email to that effect soon.
