Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've decided to drive. It's only 13 hours @@ ... but planes are a hassle and I have control issues about being without my car.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

the hotel restaurant in Evanston that we held our first prom at.

Good times, good times.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

the hotel restaurant in Evanston that we held our first prom at.

If I take the CTA to or from work, most times I notice the hotel out the train window and think about the F2F....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My current hope is to be able to go. It's a great help that it's Atlanta, which makes the airfare situation much much better.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I've got to get my hotel reservations squared away (which I haven't done yet partly out of laziness and partly out of travel-phobia), but I'm pretty much a lock on coming since I'm committed to my road trip (and have postponed the damn jury duty and gotten confirmation on same).

Mostly lurking...

I got researched yesterday and should have the money just in time to buy a plane ticket. YAY!

Our wings are not tired.

We'll be there. Probably driving since I have a couple customers in the area that I should visit.

Librarian Warlord

The DH and I are hoping to be there. There might be an issue since I'm theoretically not allowed vacation days until I've been here 90 days, but it's his birthday weekend so getting away sounds like a good idea.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's a pretty quick trip from DC, too.

I'll be there. Though I still haven't gotten around to getting a ticket yet.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I am coming, though I still need to, you know, buy tickets and reserve things, and get over the whole "never been on a plane" thing.
