Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Now I want to see the ad.

Well, there's www.seemyla.com.

Our wings are not tired.

It's too early for me to read the testimonials on the front page of that site. It runs too fast for me to read them. This is very odd since I generally read very fast. Huh.

eta: It is unlikely that I would see the ad campaign. I don't think LA markets to us. We get ads from Georgia, the Carolinas, New York, and of course various islands.

The status is NOT quo.

x-post from Press:

NEW PLAN for meeting beloved Stompy Jon B. tomorrow night:

Meeting around 7:30 (depending on what time Jon's done with the shoot) at El Cholo: 1121 S. Western Ave., LA, 90006.

I will plan to stay late on the West side until Jon is done and will bring him to the restaurant. I will post an updated ETA as soon as Jon contacts me tomorrow evening. Sound good?

Please RSVP to me if you think you may come (ktaylor9 AT mac DOT com) so that I can call ahead for a table.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Hey Kristin, et al.

I'm only on line for a few minutes, but it looks like I'll be done sooner than I thought. I should be wrapping up no later than 4 or 4:30, so if you want to make dinner a little earlier that should be fine. If I'm just complicating things, then let's keep it at 7:30pm.

Today was fun. I tried on different clothes, including the Silver Suit, but they ultimately decided on something simpler; I went over various ideas for the ad with the director and the agency people; and I gave multiple theremin demonstrations, including two performances of Video Killed the Radio Star.

Everyone on the crew and from the agency are super friendly. Tomorrow is going to be pretty grueling as I play variations of the same 30 second thing over and over and over for hours at a time, but they understand that this is all new for me and are making the experience more than pleasant.

P.S. El Cholo looks great!

Jon, WOOT! That's SO much better for me. Call me on my cell when you get off work.

I'm happy to make dinner earlier--anyone have objections to 6:30? Oh wait--Robin, will you be done?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Boo on no silver sex suit! Yay on making it a good experience! Yay on the world fame that will surely ensue once theremin-playing Jon is seen by the masses.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I will get there a bit late. Order me green corn tamales and i will get there in time to eat them!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

El Cholo won't happen for another 14 hours, Laura.
