On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I like puppies.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It was at the time of the Columbine shootings, and there was concern that because there was some superficial resemblance (Jonathan in the clock tower with a rifle, the students arming up against the mayor) the network might be taken as less than tactful in its airing choices, so they pulled the episodes.

I caught "Earshot" on the Sci Fi channel this evening.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I organized the tape tree, even. We had a Buffista who had access to some kind of professional facilities, and she made copies for like fifteen people.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I seem to remember an official (or semi-) link for the Atlanta F2F. Could someone post that link for me?

Also, I thought once the F2F had been officially booked, the stompies put the relevant link in the header, but I might be mis-remembering.

I've booked the time off, and I'll be going as far as Charlotte, NC during that time, so what's four or so more hours to meet a bunch of Buffistas I've (mostly) never met before?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

A quick heads up for Boston-area Buffistas: G and I will be at Boskone this weekend. In fact, G has a concert at 1 on Saturday.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

As I just posted in Beep Me, I got the White Castle gig! I'll be filming a commercial for White Castle in which I sing and play my theremin in front of a camera for 30 seconds. I will be in L.A. this coming Monday and Tuesday (2/19 and 2/20) and would love to hang with some LAistas one of those evenings.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Dude, that's totally awesome!

When will this commercial be available on YouTube?

Whoa, dude, by chance, I will also be in L.A. this Tuesday night, but I'll be watching Veronica Mars and all. My flight doesn't get in till the evening anyway.

No idea, but that's definitely something I intend to ask about. Right now, I'm only worrying about short term logistics.

I just found out that my friend Donna (who some of you met at the LAF2F) is playing at Spaceland with her band Bedroom Walls Monday night, so I definitely want to go to that.

Also.... uhhh.... the 20th is my birthday, sooo... dinner... maybe... Tuesday...?
