The status is NOT quo.

Bwah! Oh that's a priceless picture, and one I completely do not remember. Oddly.

Our wings are not tired.

Lee looks horrified.

I think she's plotting on who to take out to jump in on the action.

Kissage!

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

None of you may believe this, but I actually uploaded all of my SF2F Pictures.

You're right, I don't.

It's actually been so long I had completely forgotten you HADN'T posted them.

Still, makes a nice early Christmas prezzie.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

OK, so it looks like the two proposals we've got are Durham (prom not in hotel) and Atlanta (prom in hotel), both for April 6-8. Due to Passover, should we also be looking at the March 30 - April 1 weekend? Passover starts Monday night, April 2. The April 6-8 weekend is right in the middle of Passover. I'm fine with either one (though the March 30 - April 1 would work out slightly better for me), and there was some discussion before, but no conclusions. Should we just go with the April 6-8 one, since that's what got the most votes, or is there more discussion to be had?

If no more discussion, then I'd like to open polling pretty soon, so that we can get all the decisions made and the hotel booked before people start scattering for the holidays.

Um, isn't April 6-8 also Easter? Is that going to pose a problem? (Or is the fact that some people will get off work early on Friday actually a plus here?)

(FWIW, I asked specifically about the weekend of the 31st, but the hotel in Atlanta has availability for prom on I think all of the weekends we've discussed, and rates shouldn't be affected, so we should be able to work with whatever dates are best if we go that route.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Oh yah. Passover's not a problem for me but I can't go out of town on Easter.

It is? Ooops. OK, then it looks like that weekend's definitely out of the running. The weekend of the 31st seems like the best bet, then.

information libertarian

Durham can work for either March 31 or April 6 weekend.

Our wings are not tired.

The Passover/Easter weekend is also my kid's Spring Break which makes it a bad time for me. I didn't even look at those dates when I was clicking madly on the poll dates. Ooops.

Yeah, I didn't realize either until I was looking at the calendar before calling the hotel. Oops.
