Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

No really, gather around the camp fire. Trust us.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Maybe that should be the t-shirt: Fernet, yes. Kumbaya, no.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Also, I love the retreat idea, but I wonder about the buffistas that need time away from the group, would it be too isolated/claustrophobic for that? Would it be too "all Buffistas all the time"?

I think so... while I don't feel a need for, say, a bustling nightlife or lots of attractions apart from the Buffista gathering, I'm not keen on the only decompression option being to sit huddled in a bunkhouse. I've been in that situation with family that I love dearly and was sorely tempted to start walking the 120 miles home by the end of the second day.

I've been that way with family and I've been tempted to climb a clock tower with a bolt action rifle. I guess we all deal with things a little bit differently.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The retreat idea appeals to me but...we need a lot more discussion on something like that. I don't think that at this stage in the game...there's a lot of issues there that I'm not sure we should be jumping into right now.

None of you may believe this, but I actually uploaded all of my SF2F Pictures.

Enjoy.

Great pictures!

Fun was had.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

...while I don't feel a need for, say, a bustling nightlife or lots of attractions apart from the Buffista gathering, I'm not keen on the only decompression option being to sit huddled in a bunkhouse.

Now I'm just imagining the Buffista version of Ruby Ridge.

ATF Negotiator: "Put down the weapons and come out. We don't want anybody to get hurt."

Buffistas: "NEVER! NOT UNTIL YOU BRING BACK 'FIREFLY'!"

ATF Negotiator: "We have Fernet..."

juliana: "I'll be right there! Hey, Firefly is great and all, but..."

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hey! I'm not that easy (and besides, I'd have a backup stash).

OTOH, if Jensen Ackles was serving the Fernet, I'd hand all y'all over in a flash. Sorry. A girl has her priorities.
