Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

Weren't you paying attention? You don't need to move to the East Coast to be her minion. Her power is mighty and far reaching. A mere 3000 miles is nothing to a woman of her omnipotence.
Yeah, but it'd be more fun in person.
I don't know if they have meeting spaces that would suit our needs for Prom, but the Newbury Street Guest House and the Harborside Inn in Boston might be worth checking out. I've stayed at the former, and it was great in terms of rooms and location (and only about $25 over our limit for a single traveler—I bet if they can accomodate our numbers at all we'd be able to get them under $100/room.)
The Newbery Guest House looks great. Maybe we can get the whole thing. Wouldn't that ROCK.
It would be cool. And unlike the boutique hotel we looked at in DC, it has an elevator. And a hotel overlordcat. Unfortunately no on-premises courtyard restaurant, though there is a downstairs dining room where they serve a continental breakfast.
The Newberry Guest House looks fabulous!
I think the only logistical problem would be the lack of two beds per room (I think the site said there were only two rooms with two queen-sized beds).
Any "suites" with a bed and a pull-out couch? That seems to be the way many hotels solve the two bed problem.
They say the bay window rooms (facing Newbury Street) have love seats with single-size pull-out beds. No rollaways or cots, though.
Hey, need some travel advice
LA/SFistas -- what's the best way to get between the two cities?
NYistas -- need a good place to take a bunch of students and parents. good with large groups, not too expensive.
Phillyistas -- same question.
