Is that a challenge? 'Cuz I think we can take you, missy.
(My dad and I were at the air show in Chicago last weekend, and wandering about I started to say "you know what's weird here?" and without missing a beat he chimed in "No beer tents." Yeah, we're from Milwaukee all right.)
No! It's a plea for expert help. We could help Milwaukee regain the crown, the year the f2f returns to the midwest.
Cindy, I like the way you think.
Which is next year.
Land of cornfields and cheap hotels. I'm all set for pimpage.
Imagine if we had that kind of demographic power. You know, if we worked it right we could get various booze manufacturers to sponsor the F2Fs. Fernet could cover the cost of the prom, whoever makes the stuff in mojitos could pay for our public transportation costs . . . it's a woozie idea whose time has come!

In that case, sign me up.
And in fact, I hadn't really thought about it, but I'll totally pimp Milwaukee next year. (Unofficial slogan: Milwaukee—Much Cooler Than You Think. No Really.)

Hmmm. Odd. The 2008 National Poetry Slam Finals are going to be in Milwaukee, and we've seriously considered going out there for it.

This is BRILLIANT.

I'd buy that for a nickel. I like Milwaukee. Not as much as I like Madison, but close.
Forbes has named Boston as America's 4th drunkest city. I think Buffista ingenuity could help us reach number 1.
Who are the top 3? I remember some years back, SF was at the top of list for booze & books consumption, & Boston won for cigarette consumption. Hmmmm.
Columbus OH was #3.
ETA: Milwaukee was #1, and Minneapolis/St. Paul was #2.
