Oh, we really did, and I wouldn't call it a disaster at all. We got to spend time with you, and meet new people, and it was fun.

That's good. The whole thing was SO insane, you pretty much had to laugh.

(Saul Williams' groupies stole liquor from the Green Room, so I felt mildly, pettily vindicated. And Viggo gave up his seat so one more person could get in. The whole thing was nuts.)

Oh yes. That was a good time! (And again, Steve and Ben were involved. They should really hang out here.) Alas, I just missed you on my last trip to SoCal. Might need to do Seattle/Portland/Vancouver next tour (I mean, I did meet my wife in your new city, after all.)

It's a VERY NICE watertower. With a lovely view. And an insane spiral staircase to the observation deck.

I had just, sadly for Suzi and Kristin and Drew and Paul, hit hyperoverdrive when going up it, so the rest breaks I'd said we could take turned out to be more like pauses between sprints up another round of stairs.
