Wesley: All right. I'm going to let you all in on something you may have trouble comprehending. I assure you however-- Gunn: Vampires are real. Wesley: I was telling!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

They will work out. I would/am offering you a place to stay here, but with the forewarning that Bastet would have to stay shut in the same smallish room the whole time you are here.
After a car trip, if my monsters are any indication, having a *whole* room to explore was heavenly for them even if they were shut in.

Lee, I have package to mail you!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hey, look at the fun people doing the fun stuff and looking attractive while they do it.

Jesse looks very dubious about her spokesperson.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay!! It was indeed a fun brunch, and a fun visit overall, cephalopod porn nonwithstanding. I'm so glad I got to hang out with foamy DC and NYCistas.

And Emily, I PROMISE to take you out barhopping when you get here. Perhaps by then, the collective North Beach hangover will have worn off a bit.

I must say, United's Premium Service flight direct between SF & NYC (they also have an LA/NYC flight) is Teh Bomb-Diggety. They actually fed us food! Hot food! That we didn't have to pay for! And there was leg room and pillows and comfort, oh my! Verra nice.

I also pimped Corb Lund to my mom, while we drank Fernet. It was a very Buffista moment.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Was there hair coloring involved?

The status is NOT quo.

Hey, look at the fun people doing the fun stuff and looking attractive while they do it.

This should be the F2F tagline, really.

Our family will be in the Huntington Beach area from the 20th to the 23rd. I'm not sure what the tournament schedule is yet, but would love to try to meet up with any folks in the area.

Also, my son's 10th b-day is on the 21st. Anyone down there have any tips on getting a deal to visit the Mouse?

DCistas! I will be in D.C. on July 21st and would love to have dinner with anyone who is around that evening. MFNlaw has already expressed some interest since I'll be staying near her work. My profile addy is good.

Suzi, sometimes if you buy tickets online in advance from Disney, they're cheaper. Also, if anyone has a So. Cal. driver's license and is going with you, that person can sometimes buy discounted tickets for themselves and guests. If your DH has some sort of military ID, this can also get you discounts.

The Mouse, however, is not cheap.
