Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

'm waving at you from my office, tommy! Can you see me?

Yes!

I think. It's bright out. We haven't had a sunny day like this in Chicago in ages....

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

You are one SCARY-ASS freak, my friend....

I'll just put it inside the Teen Titans luggage then. (Don't forget you've got an extra bag going back.)

I am SO spoiled! Keep the gifties coming!

Our wings are not tired

One more item off the list. The car is at the dealer right now getting scheduled maintenance done so that it's all ready for the drive tomorrow. I've got a hair appointment in 3 hours, and I need to drop off drycleaning.

Librarian Warlord

Safe travels, tommyrot!

I really wish I had been able to take more time off so I could have gotten an early F2F with Nora and Tom and the other early arrivals. ::sigh:: Also, my DH's aunt and uncle decided to visit and they arrive on Sunday, so I suspect that I will need to fit some time in with them on Monday, the one day I was able to take as a vacation day. At least they're staying in a hotel.

Epic, if you're reading, it occurred to me that my DH and I can bring clothes to you for the trip to Jail -- we'll be meeting everyone at the boat and you won't have to carry it around all day.

Spidra, where on campus are you?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Good morning to all. I'm about to clean the hell out of my house, get Fay's futon with foam topper set up, scream at cats, take shower, and have some coffee ready for Vortex when she gets here with the car. Then it's Fay at not quite noon, Vortex to the nifty hair salon, and me back to the airport to get Laura and have the coversation about maybe bringing stuff to the HS tonight instead of tomorrow.

Memo to self for this evening: make tipsy fruit salad. Remember pain meds. Take Avonex out of fridge.

For tomorrow: Three airport runs, shaking out as follows:

Everyone's on United, both days, which makes things easier (all terminal 3 except Fay's which is international). Plan at the moment is to grab Parker at not quite 10 am, bring her back her to Jeannie's to dump off her luggage and, if she wants, to take her to the hospitality suite to hang out with Beth and whoever else is there. Off to airport with empty car: a cluster of three arrivals within 15 minutes, all on United: Matt the Bruins Fan, DX, and Anne. I'll wear my Buffistas tee (although I'm fairly recognisable) and meet everyone down by baggage claim.

Back to hotel for VERY fast dropoff, then back to airport to get Pete and Jilli, who arrive one-ish. Venters, ideally, what I'd like is a curbside pickup, so as to not have to hand them another seven or so dollars for parking - is that okay? I'll have my cell with me.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Deb, I'll pick up a loaf from the local bakery to hand off tonight.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Woohoo! Glad to hear everything is progressing well now. This morning I set aside some important clothing to pack, so my journey has in a sense begun!

Yes, we'll be curbside. What color & make is your car?
