Also, a surplus of drinking establishments, live music, Tevas & Chacos (just ask sa!), and cheap & tasty eats. Y'all are almost guaranteed to see darth just by wandering through Carrboro. It's a fact! Definite lack of public transportation and Fernet, though, unfortunately.
I would love it if it were here mainly because it would almost guarantee that darth and calli and amych and flea would be able to attend. But I would be a happy, happy Buffista if the F2F were in Northampton, or in Brooklyn (NO SLEEP TILL BROOKLYN!)

(And I'd also like to second what ND said about LA -- the thing about places with little or no public transportation is that the locals tend to have cars.)
And a few folks rented cars as well. I just figure I'll rent a midsized car if it's a place like NC and then I can help haul people as well.

Aimee and Kristin, do we want to put together a tentative plan for Sunday and/or Monday? I will have the rental car, so I'm more flexible than before.
Sunday evening is open for us, Monday we have an appointment at 7:30. I volunteer Kristin's house for a cookout!
