June doesn't necessarily raise warning flags for me if we're considering New England-y locations (does the hellish summer weather in NYC start by then?). But I've been to Myrtle Beach in the summer and if that's a location people are stoked about we might want to move the date earlier from @ May 20th rather than later...

Hard to say -- Mem Day weekend this year was sunny and hot (high 80's), but the past couple days have been cold and rainy.

I'm not into Myrtle Beach, I think that it would be expensive, and as the major attraction is sitting on the beach all day, not enough mental stimulation for the Buffistas. OTOH, people are always complaining that there's too much to do :)
