What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This is my preferred site for airport satus.

(Naturally, both Newark and Cincy are both showing green right now...)

They didn't say where the weather was. It was raining earlier in NYC, but it's now just muggy. Not beautiful weather, but fine for flying. Still, since I'm back in Brooklyn, I couldn't get to the airport now even if they uncancelled the flight.

What a monumental clusterfuck. Fortunately, I have a Trader Joe's on my way home wherein one can purchase wine, tilapia, and green curry simmer sauce.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

FYI, we've had a sudden, violent thunderstorm (at least it looks that way from the ground) in DC.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Toddson, were you singing "If I Only Had a Brain" and dropping your b's again?

What is even happening?

We're having (so far mild) thunder storms here, now. Dh is about 30 minutes out.

Aimee, I haven't done the Freedom Trail since I was a kid. I'd totally be up for that outing. The thing is too, it's right through the city, so you can stop for many refreshments, along the way, and people can meet up or drop out, along the way, and go do other stuff, if they want.

And then you can climb to the top of the monument thingy (if you're into that, which I'm not), and see the WHOLE city. It's awesome.

t /I love my city

Actually, that tag probably won't ever close.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

DC tstorm seems to be over. ION, UPD is across the hall from my office, apparenty there's a security camera that came loose in the storm and it's going to fall into the street.

*IF* the F2F is in or near Boston next year, I'm totally doing this

So, is this Freedom Trail thingy just another elaborate ploy on the part of the Empress to mock the Brit again? Huh? Huh?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

t shallow

I'm such a vain femme. I love this picture, but my first thought was, "Fuck! My lipstick was all over the place! I used the good stuff!" Second thought was "Oh, wait. That's Kate's lipstick." Third thought was "AWESOME!".

(Oh, who am I kidding? That tag never closes.)

I love this picture,

That's unquestionably a Hall of Fame Buffista Pic.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hec, JZ, and/or SA, could you let me know what is going on this afternoon, especially if I am supposed to be picking SA up somewhere? Thanks!
