There's the day spa at Nordstrom at the SF Shopping Centre, one BART/Muni stop away, but I'm positive there are more affordable places close by as well.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.
The 22 Fillmore goes there - thng is, it really depends where you'd be leaving from, since I doubt everyone will be in the same place.
They have the wonderful bowls for your feet, with the soft stones, and the foot rubs, and the glayvin, and it's in Cow Hollow near some of the best food and coffee and shopping ever.
