I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Boy, youse guys are gonna be sooo mad when Em doesn't make it next year. But, I figure by two and a half, she;ll actually be able to retain some memories and there ain't enough therapists in the WORLD....

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

MEGA MEARA

For the record, it's a very good idea that Vortex and I are on opposite coasts.

do I have to say it? okay, I will -- LEGENDARY.

Did anyone actually HAVE a mojito over the weekend?

raises hand, looks at Juliana and smonster and jess and amyth

ope - in North Beach. amyth, smonster, Jessica and myself, whilst barhopping last night. Vortex had a sidecar instead - no mint.

ah, but I had TWO on my birthday, remember? I mean, that's what you told me anyway.

Fay didn't believe me when I told her, but I distinctly heard several Buffistas gasp in awe when they saw her in her ballgown.

I TOTALLY did.

Oh, I'm SO adorable. Yes I am! I really really am!

yes, you really are.

Nah. Organic or nothing.

I think that I have a few of you.

Your tagline is made of AWESOME.

hey, I thought that _I_ was made of awesome!

edit: BTW, what is behind the "legendary" thing? Genesis, svp?

edit: BTW, what is behind the "legendary" thing? Genesis, svp?

Juliana and I started it with my birthday, which involved lots of screaming LEGENDARY and high fiving one another after/before shots. (though I did get it from HIMYM)

Oh, and I'm getting my hair dyed today.

hope you have better luck that I did. fingers crossed for first try (non F2Fers don't know that I tried to get my hair dyed on Wed for my birthday, and it ended up being . . . lighter black. Kind of fixed on Friday, still not what a wanted, but at least it's a different color. I mean colour.)

I am Aimee's work. I have eaten her - starting with her plump and ample behind.

you forgot LUSCIOUS.

Oh dear LORD Juliana--please delete the picture in which the back of my skirt apparently flipped up and displayed my ass! PLEASE!

no! Hmm, I guess you could just email it to me . . .

*shakes not-so-wee fist at the universe*GrrrArrg.

I yelled at them some more when I left. I left my number with them, they claimed that you hadn't left any contact information, just what was missing.

Brenda - The hotel apparently didn't switch my parking cost from your room to Ellen's, so I owe you $75.

I created a bit of, um, fuss at the desk, so they comped half of the parking cost to Brenda.

(Seriously, I'm not THAT big of a lush.) (Stopping now.)

I know that your'e not trying to tell me that. I mean, pot and kettle, but at least I admit it! :)

Random thoughts

Cass -- I owe you $5 for the cab. I'll buy the first round next year. .

Sorry that I missed folks on monday. I ended up staying in Oakland with my friend and her new baby (and her old 3 year old) all day and staying for dinner. Did n't get to say goodbye to a lot of people. feh.

I do not have The Ick. I do, however, have a little tickle in the back of my throat, but I usually get that when I fly. I will emergen-c before bed, though.

oh, one more thing -- the F2F was legendary

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I am home, and sad and missing y'all. I do think my case of the Plague has just about run its course, though, so that's good. But... damn, I didn't want to leave this morning. This was such a great weekend: getting to hang out with so many lovely and cool people, and wandering around San Francisco, and all the dancing (...etc.) at Prom, and being introduced to things like Slings and Arrows and Supernatural, and did I mention just spending time with everyone? Highlights include: dinner with Nutty, Consuela, Theodosia, and Polter-Cow on Friday night; Sean came to Prom!; feeling very much loved when Hec, JZ, and Tom Scola took good care of me and fed me soup on Sunday night when I was sorely afflicted; sharing the Hotel Room of Love, Makeup, and Hotass with juliana, smonster, and amyth; and so many more. I feel so lucky to know you all.

A huge, huge THANK YOU to deb for putting everything together, and to everyone else who Made It Happen: to Perkins for making the arrangements for Friday's mani/pedi party (I keep looking at my hands and feeling ridiculously pleased that they are so pretty!), and to Consuela and Laura Shapiro for Saturday's vidfest, and to all the localistas who put us up and drove us around. And I'm especially grateful to Drew for putting together the dance mix for Prom; I know you worked hard on it, and it really was so totally KICKASS. Plus, now I can say that I have skanked in a corset and 4" heels. Truly, you are made of awesome.

There was the Kitchen O' Porn in LA. The HS Veranda of Debauchery put that TO SHAME. Shame, I tell you.

OMG, how did I miss this? I was sucked into the vortex of debauchery (which didn't have nearly enough actual Vortex) over by the drinks table, and never made it out to the veranda. Clearly I will need to make up for this next year. Maybe the solution is just not to go to bed at all.

when do I get to make my F2F pitch for Salem MA?

Bring it! That would be excellent. I plan on pitching Northampton too, but Salem might be better because of ease of access to Boston.

I have a bunch of pictures, of course, but I have to go to bed now (so as to be awake for my first day of my new job tomorrow!) so they won't be up until tomorrow or Friday.

Is it next May yet?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Highlights include: dinner with Nutty, Consuela, Theodosia, and Polter-Cow on Friday night

That was a highlight for me too!

Except for that damn accordion player.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Good reason for me to come back to SF.

I would be pleased to be the bait.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nicole, the last time I saw one of my tiaras, you had it. Do you still?

HA! tommyrot, you caught Consuela explaining the HP/C.S.I. crossover fic!! Heeeee.

I don't know why, but I really like the way she says, "This is not my kink."

I'm getting the pig!

P-C, you and Em were too damn cute for me not to get a pic of the two of you.

Lee, I think either Deb or Suzi are in possession of your tiara.

Sorry that I missed folks on monday.
