deb, unless the Buffistas got it from somewhere else, I heard the reference on the show "How I Met Your Mother." Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) has lots of little catch phrases, like "suit up!" and "legendary."

The ones you're missing out on: Jilli and Pete together, a fuzzy blob of gothy beauty. A pic of Kate P., also fuzzed. The back of Drew... at the very end of the dancing girl sandwich just as they broke apart...so not anything but backs, actually. Etc. At least I got a few good ones.

Oh, she had a great time! And I'm really glad she came up -- we haven't talked much since she's been in school (because that happens when people go to college), and I just love having adult siblings to hang with!

Oh, if anyone wants higher-resolution versions of any of my photos, just drop me a line....

I withstood the temptation, even though it was more tempting than a tempty tempty thing coated in chocolate and sequins. I am a Very Good Fay Indeed.

I have a number of photographs that I hope to upload some time soon, including some of Tickybox and Plei in a fantastic Mexican restaurant of yumminess. (Tickybox IS every bit as astonishingly cute as her photographs lead one to believe. Bless. She slays me.)

So sorry that there has been Post F2F shittiness for several people - sending -ma to y'all. (And, on a Scola-related note, I have to agree that Tom has the most incandescent smile I've seen in, well, pretty much ever. Bless the cuteness. I am disconsolate to think that the ATM card crappiness will have dimmed his smile. Stoopid world.)

Deb, don't worry about the pencils. They're not coloured, they're drawing pencils ranging from 2B to 9B, iirc, and it's annoying that I left them but it's not worth the hassle of sending them on - I'm constantly misplacing my drawing pencils and having to buy new ones. If you know anyone who could make use of them over here, please hand them over to them. (I brought art supplies because I have a 14 hour flight, see, and I figured that this could keep me occupied.)

Empress, love, you aren't seriously beset by body image demons, I hope? Because, no disrespect to the other Buffistas, who are a foamy foamy bunch, you are one of THE most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. And I'm not just saying that to make you feel better - I commented on it to quite a few people over the course of the weekend, because It Is So. I'm slightly shocked at the possibility that you don't realise this. You're stunning.
