life-reaffirming
seriously, a good word for it. Despite the fact that I am dead, i feel very positive and happy.
but there is no way I am leaveing the house tomorrow. ( unless I need to grocery shop)
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: Madison, WI from June 20-22 2008! Official website.

I believe Juliana would suggest Fernet as a cure for all the ick. but she would have to pour.
I believe Juliana would suggest Fernet as a cure for world hunger. And possibly our reliance on foreign oil.
when do I get to make my F2F pitch for Salem MA? Let me know when I can start sending out RFPs.... heh.
NOW NOW NOW.
I think we'd even get Jilli out there.
Oh, I'm SO adorable. Yes I am! I really really am!
Well, duh.
My thumb is sore from the right click save thingy. And yet I say more! I need more pictures!
I am in the lobby of a hotel in Baltimore. No internet in the rooms because they are evil. There are a number of internet needy folks here. And yet not near as foamy as those I just spent 5 days with. Reality sucks.
My pictures from the Prom (but not post-prom - those will come later).
I dislike taking flash pictures, but at some point the lights were turned down so flashless didn't work so well.
Anyway.
Oh, post-Prom piccies: [link]
My!
Aside from the porniness of the post-Prom pictures, it's interesting to note that everyone becomes more photogenic in a picture with Tom Scola. He makes everyone in his immediate orbit pretty on film. It's his superpower!
My, indeed, JZ. There are officially more pictures of my husband with other women than with me. Ha.
Hi tommyrot!
Did you escape the F2F malaise? I'm thinking that any sucky ickyness is to be blamed on random strangers we traveled with in planes, trains, BART, etc. Because up close and F2F with Buffistas never a cause for the ick.
I don't want to be back in work mode, and yet.
The trip back was ok. On the first leg, SFO to Chicago, I was in the middle section between two very wee people. I thought this would result in sleep, and yet it didn't happen. I slept for about an hour on the gate seats waiting for my connection at O'Hare. Slept about an hour on the way to Baltimore. Maybe a half hour before going to work. And now I am on the internets in the lobby instead of under the covers. Huh.
