I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I manage to watch so little tv normally, that re-runs can keep me busy for a while. Plus Biggest Loser and random FoodTV or PBS stuff.

I think I watched about half of season 1 of Lost, but my heart wasn't in it since I was pretty sure JJ knew not where he was going. Basically I have no faith in him so I have kinda sworn off all of his projects.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Lots of British TV. And the first season of Carnivale. Now the second season of Sleeper Cell, which is not living up to the first season.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

And the first season of Carnivale.

I LOVE Carnivale! I especially love how all the people look and feel like real people, and real people of that era. I think the casting is phenomenal. The second season gets a little crazy, but I still wish they had been able to continue the story.

What is even happening?

You didn't think the bloody-eyed zombies on Alias were close?

Lost is my first JJ show.

Awww...Alias. How I miss your inaneness and good wigs and costumes.

Well, the next JJ show has Denethor AND Molly Dodd.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Re Lost, for me, it was the season one finale, when they didn't answer any of the questions they promised to answer.

This was when I dropped off the bandwagon. The producers effectively said "why should we show respect to the audience? Screw 'em!" with their empty promises, and that slap in the face completely negated the enjoyment I'd had of the series up to that point.

I've been watching more of Mythbusters and Animal Planet shows since the strike started thinning out network programs, and so have happily discovered David Salmoni. I refuse to watch reality programming on Network TV, though.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Alias. How I miss your inaneness and good wigs and costumes.

This. I loved pretty much all the actors (although Spydaddy most of all, with Spymommy and Sydney fighting it out for second place). And it was shiny and exciting and things went bang!

Also, Sydney had the best wigs evah.

And Sloan! Oh, I loved Sloan, and his fucked up relationships with the SpyFamilyRobinson.

But, yes, it was made of crazy. And whoever it was that said JJ Abrams' approach to continuity and writing himself into a corner was to send Sydney into said corner in a tight red dress and get her to blow it up? So. Very. True.

Still, I never stopped liking it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

My love for the show was cemented when SpyDaddy KILLED the guy, brought him back to life with the defibullator, then threatened to do it again unless he talked. Also "what's a spork?"
