[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I still watch Lost, but it's more like a sadistic obligation to see it through til the end than me actually liking it anymore. the season one finale was it for me too. actually, to be more specific it was the second hour of the season one finale that did it for me. complete and utter crap, that was.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Yeah, I still had hope during the first hour.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm still hooked on Lost. Of course, I watched every episode of Alias and never got annoyed by it. I'm easy.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Dr. Who, Torchwood, and SGA have helped me keep my sanity. Also, strangely, Flash Gordon, but mostly because the women have actual agency.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Also, strangely, Flash Gordon, but mostly because the women have actual agency.

Now if only they had dialog or plots ...

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I've been...

...

What the hell have I been watching?

I think I just tossed the remote to Em and Aimee and read...books. And did a little drawing. Even toyed with some stories I've been writing.

Crap. Now I kinda don't want TV back.

On the other hand, we did just get a nice big TV set, so...

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Project Runway, Ace of Cakes, and lots of kid's programming. That's what I've watched.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm not missing shows that have run out of episodes because I've got new ones: FNL, Torchwood, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Medium, L&O, Supernatural, Project Runway. Plus, stuff On Demand and things on dvd.

What is even happening?

Part of what keeps me hooked on Lost (and kept me watching if not hooked, before the cracktastic flash-forwards) is that I'm waiting for the grand asspull. Remember on Angel, when Skip gave us the asspull to end all asspulls? It was so magnificently assy + pully, that I never imagined any other show would come close to challenging it, never mind beating it out, but if any show can take it down, it's Lost. Whether it will or not is another thing, but it's the first time I ever imagined it possible.
