[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"I am the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world"

Eh, everybody's got their guilty pleasure shows. I'm just trying to figure out what mine is.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Mine is Project Runway. I can't help it. I love Tim Gunn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which reminds me--more than one episode of "How to Look Good Naked" slipped through. Not sure how you do more than six episodes of that, much less more than a season, but it was good to see the girls cheered up by some objective and some subjective feedback.

Was that good, ita? I never checked it out. I am imagining that it will be in reruns for the next 6 months.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've really liked it, especially for the range of women they've had on.

Hey. New board.

I was able to pinpoint the episode that led to me giving up on the show the first time.

Was it episode 10? Cuz that's the last one I watched, and that would be fun. Though I didn't have an exact "giving-up" point: it was more than I got more and more behind, watching episodes later and later, until eventually I realized that I just didn't care at all anymore when I could spend those 45 minutes reading about Veronica Mars instead.

HA! It totally was. It was the episode where Charlie got hung from a tree and didn't die and then there was a hatch. I had Alias flashbacks and decided to come back in four years when the zombies showed up.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I've been watching Project Runway. And What Not to Wear. Sigh.

Kristen, I remember being pissed about Lost before that one. I won't get sucked back in.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Re Lost, for me, it was the season one finale, when they didn't answer any of the questions they promised to answer.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I bailed Lost, then the SO got re-hooked on it, so I watched again but confusedly and bailed again. Now it started without me with the SO watching it, but with me missing it because of him being sick in the room with the television.

Now because the electricians didn't terminate any of the cable ends, I dunno how long it'll be before I can watch tv again. And because the radio internet people aren't sure if I can get reception or not and won't even schedule a time to schedule a time to install, I dunno how long before I have the internets again. Waily, waily.
