[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I thought the point of NAFDA was that you were able to freely discuss cross topic shows. That was specifically important in Buffy/Angel crossover issues, but the premise holds up here.

Except that we whitefonted Buffy discussion in the Angel thread, and vice-versa.

I'm trying to figure out how all the SCC talk ended up here, when it's a bit off topic.

There was only a little bit of it, but enough so that people (including me who, regrettably, initially brought up the issue) wondered what the rule was.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm cautious about spoiling someone who does not want to be spoiled.

That's why I like the bright line of thread rules. If I'm behind in *anything* I know I assume a risk by going into a NAFDA thread. But I'm not mad at anyone for spoiling me. I did it to myself. I don't want people typing skittishly because of that.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I appreciate it when someone whitefonts something I might be spoiled for. I prefer more whitefont to less but then I never browse from a device that makes it impossible to highlight whitefont.

Yes, it was an off topic remark for this thread, which is why I put it in whitefont.

That's all I got.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Well then ... how about that Tim Minear? He's kinda spiffy, dontcha think?

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Is it dead?

Is it dead?

I dunno. Did it fall out of the tree? If so, probably dead.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I wonder what the studios will release on DVD in the next year without full TV seasons to release. Any suggestions?
