The IT company who put together their website needs shooting; it's a half hour job to put an SSL certificate on it. It doesn't actually provide much in the way of the way of security (it's basically a marketing tool), but it's easy money so god knows what went wrong when they set the site up.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Yeah, the thing is, a lot of people won't donate online unless that https is there, and a lot of people won't bother to then look for another way to donate, because, really, there are so many really worthy charities out there that do have the https and make everything easy.
Force majeures have started, timed with the DGA talks which have begun.
Among the ABC Studios talent cut loose: Gabe Sachs & Jeff Judah ("What About Brian"), Nina Wass & Gene Stein ("Less Than Perfect"), Bill Callahan ("Scrubs"), Larry Charles ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Sean Bailey ("Project Greenlight") and the team of Joshua Sternin & Jeffrey Ventimilia ("That '70s Show," "Surviving Christmas"). Oh, I forgot to link to my post about my day on the picket lines. It was a good time.
I now realize I was addicted to deadlinehollywooddaily. Is there a meeting for this?
This made me laugh. From BBC News:
Striking US screenwriters are threatening to picket the Oscars ceremony. If they do, one thing's for sure - they'll be walking in orderly circles. Why do they do that?
ETA: I just started watching the Terminator pilot. Am I the only dork who saw the FBI's file on Sarah and went, "Hey, you forgot her middle initial!"?
I just started watching the Terminator pilot.
Just finished it, and I thought it was excellent. Did not pick up on your whitefont, though I did rewind and pause to see if they used the same actor for Dyson. They didn't, did they?
My stupid cable box didn't change channels, so I missed Sundays. I'm going to see if it's online, though.
I thought it was very good but I'm not completely sold on the kinder, gentler Sarah Connor model. And they didn't use the same actors. In T2, the Dysons were played by Joe Morton and S. Epatha Merkerson.
Vortex, someone said that you can download the pilot for free from iTunes.
This thread is NAFDA. No need to whitefont.
