And he certainly didn't have any friends among the "beautiful people". Seriously, wasn't the rule that if the cool people like you, you, by definition, cannot be the nerdiest kids in school?
Depends. At my high school the coolest kids were the nerds and misfits.
And a lot of really ugly actors were already planning on not attending anyway in support. So mean and nerdy.
I know! Dude that Clooney character should wear a bag on his head.
Hold on, did Ben Silverman just invoke a variant of Scrappy's Law?
Seems like. I am cracking up at Silverman assuming that the actors correspond to the unattractive, unpopular people as opposed to all the stylin' social butterfly producers that want to bring us the GG-themed prom out of the goodness of their hearts.
"Sadly, it feels like the nerdiest, ugliest, meanest kids in the high school are trying to cancel the prom. But NBC wants to try to keep that prom alive."
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, that's priceless.

I took that as a smack back at the writers.
I translate it as 'Do you realise how many viewers those fuckwit writers have cost the show? I might not get my bonus now! I hate them! I best think of something witty to say, since I don't have a writer.'
I wish I'd gone to Daisy Jane's high school.
...Wow, Silverman is scraping bottom, there, isn't he?
Sadly, it feels like the nerdiest, ugliest, meanest kids in the high school are trying to cancel the prom
!!!!!
Wow. That's ...no, really. I've got nothing.
Kevin, I've been meaning to ask - before you find your way to the board, were you a Browncoat?
Sadly, it feels like the nerdiest, ugliest, meanest kids in the high school are trying to cancel the prom
it's so freaking petty to try to insult the writers.
