Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

For me, it was the Late Shift.
That was kinda painful for me to watch. Several times. I wanted to like them all so much more than I did after that.

Return the jacket.

Oddly, the movie version almost made me like Mike Ovitz.

I really do like the jacket. It's just a very light color so I'm worried about keeping it clean. I'm trying to rationalize the purchase by reminding myself that whatever I bought today will probably not fit me in two months anyway.

Funny strike related moment: I was deciding between two jackets and had to put one of them back. Because it was red. I might never want to wear that color again.

Cause he was Treat Williams. He's likable. (I totally had to check with IMDB before I posted that. I was afraid I was misremembering.)

I apologize for laughing.

Starts to plan trip to see Kristen... and all the clothes she's shrinking out of...

Monique, you'd better book your ticket fast. I have two HUGE 30 gallon trash bags filled with the clothes that no longer fit me. And they ain't staying in the house for long.

ETA: Actually, I should ship you some stuff. You're the only person I know who's tall enough to wear a lot of these clothes.

I apologize for laughing.

No apologies needed. I found it funny myself.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm tall! But not actually angling for your clothes. I hate getting clothes mail-order!

It's like shopping, only without the mall!

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Bob Costas just got a little slam on his corporate masters (or support for the WGA depending on how you look at it) during halftime of tonight's Colts Titans game.

He was reading a little promo for Leno and Conan coming back on Wednesday night and quipped, "We can only hope that Triumph the insult comic dog writes his own material."

hee!

I like the idea in theory. In practice, it's never worked out well unless I'm buying the exact same thing that I already own. Even then it can be a crapshoot.

See, that takes the fun (and cardio) right out of it for me.

But I should make you a list of what I have so you can choose. You probably don't want me to send you all 60 gallons of clothing.

Yeah, exactly.
