[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Kristen, he'll work on getting a poster signed before Friday. Signatories may include Josh Friedman, Lena Headey, and/or Summer Glau.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

P-C, if you can't get Summer Glau, I have a connection to her I could check. Let me know.

Oh, trust me, this is connection enough. I'm just hedging my bets with the "and/or"; you never know about availability. (For instance, he's right now waiting for her to call him back about something or other.) Thanks, though.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Did anyone get an email confirmation from MPTV for their donation? It usually gets sent more or less right away, but an hour and a half later I haven't received one. I clicked "my account" to see if I had given them the right email (I did), & one of the choices is "View Donation History". I hope that page is an acceptable receipt (for taxes, not the raffle.) Oh well, good cause anyway. I join the chorus applauding Allyson and Kristen.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Some folks have just sent me the confirmation number, and that's perfectly cromulent.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, ET tells me that Edie Falco was on the picket line in NY today.

Ah well. I've never seen her in person!

making her home at bronzebeta.com since 2001

Very happy about the new campaign. So many fans were wanting to help, but the only way offered was buying a box of pencils and many jumped at that, including me.

It is great that fan support is being channeled in a more meaningful direction.
