Once I got the story out, the woman seemed into it, so that was nice. "Buffistas... like Buffy? You guys know about the Joss Whedon thing in Boston? Are you connected with Fans4Writers?" so at least she had some idea where I was coming from.

Despite taking out full-page print ads touting theircollusionunity, cracks are beginning to surface amongst the handful of major media corporations who make up the AMPTP's core decision makers.

The gamble is that networks have enough drama to last until the Feb sweeps, then reality can take over for the rest of the season - therefore advertisers will be happy.
Reality is I doubt that will work for all the networks. FOX could actually really shine ratings wise for the moment if the strike drags on. I wouldn't want to be a VP at some of the corps, as they're basically going to be fighting drunk.
