Disease spreads in different ways among different groups. Good luck trying to stem the tide in, say, West Africa the same way you approach it in Sweden.

Well, it's good that you're not in charge of the efforts to eradicate the disease, and that people who understand that different cultures are different are at least somewhat up in the thing.
I'd love to see someone try and talk the average Jamaican guy into using a condom the same way you'd try the average American. Attitudes towards sex, sexuality, homosexuality, IV drug use--hardly constant across the world, but more usefully similar within ethnicities.
