Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

I support the idea of these boycotts, but not downloading things from iTunes or buying DVDs is just not practical for me, for various reasons.

You know, I would think downloading and watching stuff on the internet would be a good thing. AMPTP claims they don't make any money off the internet. If they made money during this strike on "new media" that would only bolster the writers' position.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Who says they have to report that money to the public? They'll just say it's savings from not paying people due to the strike.

I don't know that boycotting downloads will have much impact, but I'm disinclined to help the studios make money on new media during the strike.

Woot!

GF and I may be out there on Friday, too, as it's supposedly "Fan Day." Perhaps we'll see you guys, Allyson.

I'm not sure where I stand on DVD purchases since the writers actually do get a cut of that (Mile High and some European rugby player DVDs are at the top of my To Buy list anyway), but I'll definitely refrain from buying anything over the internets until the strike is resolved.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Somebody from a blog radio station dropped us a line to say that Tim will be chatting about the strike and his shows and the fans this Friday at 7pm PST.

How funny is it that Tim's interview is in the exact same time slot as the blogtalkradio show I host? Ah, well. I can download shows later.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

This may be the funniest thing I've seen on the strike yet.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but what are people planning to do about their tv habits when original programming dries up?

I'll probably end up watching more British and Canadian television.
