Can you link to the discussions? I would like to hear from the writers (speaking for themselves, not for WGA) as to what they would be most effective.
I'd like that too. I was already planning on boycotting the reality shows, but that was more because I don't enjoy them and less self-sacrifice on my part. I know that anything that I do is only symbolic but I would like to know if anything is being organized. The dvd's were something I was thinking about as well. I guess wait and see.

As I see it there are three levels on which action by fans and other non-writer supporters can be effective. One is demonstrating public support, adding some weight to the WGA side of the PR battle. A second is hitting management in the pocket. A third is helping writer morale by letting them know parts of the public are supportive. I suspect three and one are where we can have the most impact; but I'd really be interested to know if there is anyplace we can genuinely have an impact on two.
