Well, it's just one line at the very end that almost completely undermines his explanation with confusion because the metaphor is extremely faulty.

Heh. My dad got decisively kicked out of episcopal (I think, may have been lutheran) bible school for attempting to stump the priest when he was 12 or13 . With cursewords and banning. But my dad can be an ass that way, and provoke people.
