I'm tempted to comment but I'll await data. The interpretation I'd really like does not fit with Tim's politics. I can't see him doing the equivalent of Woodie Guthrie's old song:
Jesus was a man
Carpenter by hand
With followers both true and brave
He said to the rich "give your money to the poor"
And they laid Jesus Christ in his grave.
yeah, I'm not gonna comment on that.
It's just a typo. It's not that bad.
I'm not understanding the squick. Which makes me think maybe I don't understand what Tim meant. In summary, I'm just confused.

Hee. I read it first as subversive. Then when I didn't understand, I looked up subersive in the dictionary. That didn't help.
That's a fun piece, Polter-Cow - thanks.
My perfect cast is still people I've never met.
I didn't know "subersive" was a word. I thought it was a typo, too.
I'm trying not to be squicked, because I'm not even sure why I'm squicked, but I am.
I think the squick was not based on the typo, but on the some possible readings of the statement after correcting for the typo. I doubt that Tim means it in any of those ways, any more than he means the lefty interpretation I playfully suggested.
Does anybody know what the deal is with all the reporting of Dollhouse with an aimed premiere date of this spring? I'm sure it was announced for Fall 08. Unless I got it wrong.
I thought it was an aimed production date of this Spring.
ETA: It came from Ausiello's report. He said, "The first of the seven episodes to which the network has committed could premiere as early as spring."
