Variety define put pilot as:
put pilot -- A deal to produce a pilot that includes substantial penalties if the pilot is not aired; a virtual guarantee that a pilot will be picked up; "CBS is getting back into business with Jerry Bruckheimer, inking a blind put pilot deal with the mega-producer."

Those Focus on the Family types are probably going to have something to say
Well, they made 65k complaints over THE INSIDE
Pretty sure we're talking about two different groups here. Not that there isn't probably some overlap, or that there aren't things to resent Focus on the Family about, but from your link upthread it appears that the group doing all the Inside stuff was called Parent TV Council or somesuch. Just for clarity.
Which isn't to say that Focus on the Family types won't have something to say. They probably will.

And I haven't even seen casting yet. If it has someone wonderful, I might just keel over ded.
Hee. I thought she meant, "good."
Me too.
Thanks for the description, Allyson. It sounds good!
Hee. I thought she meant, "good."
Yeah, I figured that's where your confusion came in. I almost said it outright, but I assumed you'd see it right when you looked again.
...I got a little distracted by the sidebar link about an
Escape To Witch Mountain
remake.
Congrats, Tim! A bidding war sounds exciting. No wonder the beagles are sitting pretty.
(Oo, now I will start angling for another
totally free Dr. Pepper.
Yes, I am in the vaguely-affiliated-with-TV business for the free soda. Don't judge me.)
